WHEN cleaning your home, some areas need a little more attention than others.
New York-based professional organizer Caroline Solomon has revealed what these areas are – adding that you should clean them at least once a week.

VACUUM FLOORS
In his TikTok video, Solomon began by urging people to vacuum their hard floors.
Following this task prevents buildup and keeps your floors scratch free.
CLEAN THE FLOORS
Kitchen and bathroom floors should also be cleaned weekly.
Sharing his cleaning solution, Solomon said, “I use a mop with a washable pad, two cups of warm water and a few drops of dish soap.”

TOILET BOWL
When cleaning the toilet bowl, Solomon advised you to pour half a cup of vinegar into the toilet bowl and around the rim, let it sit for 10 minutes, then scrub it.
“Make sure you scrub under the rim,” she noted.
After cleaning, you should rinse your toilet with the brush under running water to clean it and let it dry before putting it back in the toilet brush holder.
WASH SHEETS
“To kill germs and bacteria, wash sheets in lukewarm water,” the cleaning expert explained.
Also be sure to check your care label for washing instructions.
EXPIRED FOOD
His final suggestion was to throw away any expired food.
Waste should be avoided by keeping leftovers at the front of your refrigerator.
OTHER TIPS
To clean bathroom surfaces, she further recommended using a few drops of soap and warm water when cleaning marble. The same could be done with other commonly used surfaces.

And to clean the mirrors, she specifies: “I use half vinegar, half water with a cloth.”
As for cleaning heavily used kitchen surfaces, the expert used a mixture of warm water and a few drops of dish soap.
